Allison Eden Studios has collaborated with Francis Toumbakaris of HGTV and legendary interior designer Bonnie Steves to create two unique architectural pieces to be auctioned at the upcoming Design on a Dime fundraiser for Housing Works on April 26th

Founding Chair James Huniford and Honorary Chair Lara Spencer, Co-host on ABC’s Good Morning America, along with Co-chairs Michael Boodro, Editor in Chief, ELLE DECOR, Todd Oldham, Designer and President of L-7 Designs Inc., George Oliphant, Host of NBC’s George to the Rescue, and Evette Rios, Interior Designer and Correspondent for ABC’s The Chew, invite you to New York City’s most popular interior design shopping benefit, Housing Works’ Eleventh Annual Design on a Dime.

Held at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea, the 3-day event features over 60 of the world’s top interior designers, who create unforgettable room vignettes with new merchandise – from furniture to art to home decor and beyond – which is donated and then sold for 50-70% off retail pricing!

Proceeds from Design on a Dime benefit Housing Works’ newest supportive housing development, the Hull Street Residence. Hull Street is a from-the-ground-up housing development project that will transform a vacant 6,000 square foot lot, into a beautiful and safe home for 26 single, formerly homeless adults living with HIV/AIDS.

The ticketed VIP Opening Night Reception will take place on Thursday, April 23 (VIPaccess at 5:30 pm).

Attracting a star-studded crowd, the Opening Night Reception is celebrated with hundreds of VIPs, designers, and friends of Housing Works. A-list design enthusiasts mingle with top designers, including event chairs. Guests will get the first public look at the room vignettes and enjoy exclusive preview shopping, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and live entertainment.
